From RacerX.
It saddens us to bring you this news, two-time Canadian East Champion has suffered an injury this past Tuesday and he will be unable to race the Toronto SX. Michael was testing and riding at the Osborn Training facility, they had just put in a riding session and decided that the track needed some attention. While trying to affix an attachment to the tractor Michael’s feet were struck by part of the tractor. Michael’s right foot suffered several minor breaks and his left foot suffered the majority of the damage.
It is still unclear as to how severe the damage is as he has an appointment with a specialist in Columbus, OH. today that will better diagnose his injury. It is his focus to try to be ready to finish out the final race of the West Series and the Las Vegas Final. Michael would like to express a Thank You to his supporters and let the Canadian fans know how truly sorry he is that he will be unable to attend this race. The Canadian soil has been good to him and he was looking forward to having a break out weekend. We will keep you posted on when you can expect to see Michael Willard back in action.
Michael would also like to that all his sponsors that have made this season possible –
Cycra, Roland Sands, Fox Racing Shox, Motorex, Championship Powersports, Pirelli, Moose, Parts Unlimited, FMF, Wiseco, Powersport Graphics, Alpinestars, Renthal, RK, Excel, CV4, DP Drakes, DP Clutches, Twinair, Von Zipper, Ogio, SDG, Braking, Sunstar, Boyesen, East Coast Wheels, Works Connection, RG3 Tripleclamps, Vans, Quicksilver, CTI, and One Industries Helmets.

Micheal and his brother were down at the O.T.F (Osborn Training Facility)
in Tennessee or NC or something...
Zach Osborne was on the Massey Ferguson tractor, Michael was trying to attach the
roto-tiller to the PTO. (Attaching shtuff to tractor PTO's is often difficult, dangerous
and a category five pain the assss... Just sayin'......)
The tiller was on a bind and somehow spun and fell onto Michael's feet.
No broken bones, left foot (shifter) got the worse of it, she was crushed pretty bad
by the tines of the tiller. Hopes to ready for Seattle....
*Just got off phone with Cheryl and Michael...
