Not new(2007), but it will be fun! Just have to do a bit of a makeover, some carb work(still has stock carb), and wait for the ground to thaw!

Congrats! I would love to have a nice last year CR125 for a future project.

Full Floater on the stand is a 1982 RM125. I learned to ride on one of those, so I thought buying one and doing a 'nice' restore on it would be fun.
The problem, the cylinder needs a bore and replate and the head needs some work, so it would be about $400-500 just for that. I'm going to completely strip it down first to make a list of what I need to see how expensive the rebuild will be. Then I will decide to part out or start the fun. I only paid $300, so it won't be hard to break even if I have to part out.

Man that is one clean looking CR from looking at those pics. Looks to be mostly original. You mind if I ask how much you got it for Dan?

81&82 are great bikes and parts are pretty easy to get as well. If the shock is toast, then that can pretty pricey.
Have fun and enjoy your builds Dan and keep us posted.

I paid $2700, which is probably a bit high, but it has a Abrams new cylinder and top end. The previous owner is a friend and had a big bore on it that he wanted to keep. He has a 2005 that he hare scrambles. That bike will get the big bore
The bike is pretty clean. I’ve found only two things to fix. The rear suspension dog one needs new bearings and a small crack in the front number plate.
