EMX250 championship leader before the 3rd round in Russia Mel Pocock has been disqualified for race 1 yersteday. After a crash in that with Bud Racing Kawasaki rider Pierre Goupillon, Pocock made a bad move by intentionally pushing Goupillon and his bike out of the track. The sanction was communicated this morning, he did not scored any points this saturday.
It’s supposed to be a young series
Not Vet
So what the .. Pocock is doing here ? Grab a 450 and ride in the man class
The Shop
Goupillon slammed Mel in a huge take out, smashing up Pocock's bike and sending him flying down the hill (and hurting his hand). No wonder he wanted to push his bike out of the way so he could get to his first, and you could tell PG knew he was in the wrong by his body language!
Pocock was emx 250 champ 5 years ago .. and Desprey race mxgp class, don’t went to Qatar or Argentina, so it’s not an excuse and he’s in top 10-12 in 450 class.
Emx 250 is for riders who’re coming of 125, not for guys who’re afraid to race 450.
He had every room to "get to his bike first".
He shoulda stood on it then hit his kill button.
Wow Really?
If you think that's a wrong move he should be disqualified for Sunday too. Otherwise just leave him alone...
