Wonder if he is having surgery? I did a grade 1 separation in June 2020 and was off the bike for 3 months with no surgery

Depends on horizontal stability and his doc. There is a lot of variance in Grade 3 treatment.

We were sooo close to a complete field (assuming Ferrandis is good to go, minus Baggett who no-ones heard from).

Ferrandis is still on a turn track but Bagget is a mystery. Not even a squeak from him. Anyone?

Ferrandis is back on SX tracks.
Shane was doing great by watching their test race on IG.
He is not coming back soon if he has 3 grade:
Grade III- The most severe shoulder separation. This completely tears both the AC and CC ligaments and puts the AC joint noticeably out of position, with a larger bump.

Agreed, AC injuries are terrible! I was looking forward to seeing how he would do on the Honda 450.

I think it can heal very quick. i had a grade 2 AC separation, raced the redbull knock out 2 weeks later. Total 3.5 hours of brutal sand. I do have a huge bump on my shoulder though

I had a grade 3 and grade 2 in the other, neither needed surgery. Who knows though, every case is different for the most part.
