Pretty awesome that he's still out there having a good time.

I love the look of the tub rear fender! And they are super fun to ride (I wish mine was as cherry as his)

That thing's going to devour Mammoth. He still looks great on a bike. Cool to see.

I spent plenty of time on a 5 spot, and I would never start with my feet in front of the pegs.

No question he out nuts me.

Doesn't matter. Unless you're running a truck mud flap, you'll likely kill whatever is back there.

Who was that on the #125 bike that kept trying to steal his camera time?

MC is such a stud, man! I was pretty much a fanboy when he was winning everything, and the way he's handled his wife's battle with cancer, how he seems to be such a cool Daddy with his kids...and how he still can bang bars with the younger guys is so cool. He's still a great role model for the guys coming up, and looks good on the 500 too.

I noticed that, too! That was cool hearing the deep "bbbbrrrruuummmmmmm" from McG's 500 and then the angry bumblebee "waaaaaaa...waaaaaaa!!!!!" from that 125. And c'mon, what 125 rider is NOT gonna try to keep up with a 500 on the same track? I know I would (have)!!!

I dunno about you guys, but I love seeing the retired guys out there riding dirt bikes and having FUN doing it. McG, Villopoto, Pingree, RC... good stuff. It's an inspiration to me that you can just ride and have fun.

Dusty and windy brings back bland memories of many days at Argyll.

Screw batman and superman, MC was my hero back in the day. And the fact that he's one of a handful of former pro's that still embrace the sport and doesn't bitch and whine like bubbles makes him than much more of a legend. Not to mention no one will ever touch his 72 SX wins.

Awesome! I'm positive I rode mine at least 2% as fast as McGrath. And of course I had to reply to this thread based on my user name alone.

How do you get a year 2000 bike in the 1976-1989 vintage class?

Could be. I keep hearing and seeing 2000. Either way, tons of modern parts anyway.
