So what's so different here, MC deliberately punted James off the track at race speed into the tuff blocks from the previous weeks incident, was it a big deal at the time? not really and MC sure did not get black flagged.

If you know me then you know I'm a big MC fan and still am, this post is purely to show that shit like this has been going on since SX started. If Trey had both hands on the bars he probably would not of gone down, he pulled a tear off at the same time Chad sent him into the tuff block which made it real easy to fall with only one hand on the bars.

Anyway I don't exactly agree with Chad's move afterwards but this is not anything new to the sport at a amateur or pro level, it's happened 100's of times before.

I think one of the big differences is that Chad did it right after the incident, while MC did it the next week. I get your point though.

That's not really the same situation as what happened tonight. Also, it doesn't matter what happened 10 years ago or even farther back than that. The reason Reed was black flagged is the AMA wants to grow the sport. You can't have retaliation like Reed did tonight happening if you want the sport to be taken seriously.

I remember MC doing it, loved it then too. pretty sure it simply slowed Bubba down a little and he came back to fly by him for the win. but MC, RC, Bubba and plenty of other riders have intentionally taken riders out. Didn't KDun do it and even get the points they took off him back?

Champions aren't champions because they let people push them around or aren't fired up for the best finish they can get each week.

Could the difference be that Stewart may have done something really stupid or on purpose, so people loved MC banging bars in retaliation? I don't remember what the move Stewart did to MC the week before was but knowing how Stewart rides, it very well could have been a completely stupid move!
Canard landing on Reed tonight when Reed went from right to left in the air was surely an accident. Maybe Canard could have anticipated that but it was surely not on purpose.
