Straight Rhythm is supposedly only going to be 2 strokes next year. I imagine it'll be an even more niche race crowd than it was this last year. I'll enjoy watching it as always, but it seems like the current pros or the people signing their paycheck don't really care to do a one off race on a bike platform different from what they're accustom to.

I noticed his name (as well as many other big names) on the "list" in the ad for Straight Rhythm, but assumed it was just a way to get more attention, like they did last year with the Stewie bikes. Would be awesome to see him race it though.

You think the crowd that shows up, shows up because of 2 strokes or 4 strokes? I can see people going cause of 2 strokes but I don't see people NOT going cause of 2 strokes....

FYI. Last year Sal Masekala reported a highly false number of spectators last year on tv and more than half of what was actually there left the stands and headed for the pits or elsewhere once Ronnie Mac lost out and before the finals. Ended up being only a bunch of hardcore moto fans that wanted to see some off season racing left in the stands. In saying that, I ‘ll be there again this year for who ever on whatever bike. IMO its a fun event whatever the case.

If McGrath shows up to straight rhythm I'm making the trip from Texas. Also, has this guy slowed down any..? Dude is like what close to 50, and still throwing that bike around like he's 20. Fun to watch, oh and that manual down the step down was sporty as hell!

Mc's 46 years young. Had the pleasure of watching him tear it up during the Vet Weekend at Mammoth Mountain this year and he could still qualify for a National. Day 1, on the factory prepped KX450F, he ran the second fastest lap time in 30+ Pro before his bike went. Jason Potter was straight FLYING with fastest Moto1 time and Arik Swan, who qualified for Hangtown, was a tick off the King's pace all weekend...

SX would be more challenging at 20 minute Mains, but the Straight Rhythm format may just click for him! Would love to see it happen Cool

The 180º turn leading up to that jump has been there in one form or another forever. I remember my brother and I flagging on the outside of the corner, watching Tommy Clowers and Bader Maneh just rail it and head back downhill towards the pits.

Hopefully MC does show up for Straight Rhythm this year. It'd be great to see him back in his element again.

Looked like the "Factory" engine let go. That thing sounded MEAN, like Tomac's setup from Lakewood gnarly. On Saturday Moto1 he holeshot 30+ Pro from gate 39, by the way Shocked

Pretty sure the Kawi guys swapped his suspension/clamps over to a fresh stocker for Saturday Moto2, then got him even more comfortable for Sunday by installing his subframe and exhaust (still mostly stock bike, however).

I LOVE Kawi’s! Can’t wait to trade my 2018 in for a new 2019!
