Might just be me but it looked like McElrath was pointing down to something as he passed the pit box whilst getting overtaken by Anderson? Just me? Anyone know what it was?
Also what on earth happened to kitchen for the bike to lose the front wheel???

McElrath seems to have plenty of excuses going back to his 250 days.

Really? I've been around Shane and his family going way back to his 65 days and I don't know that I've heard him make excuses about much of anything. He and his dad are legitimately the nicest and most humble two men you could ever hope to meet.

I believe McElrath was pointing at the gate he was going to steal next race.

Any examples ? I truly have never thought of him as a guy who makes excuses.

From him crying and sitting out races to stay in the 250 class. To actually trying to send a petition to the ama to stay in the lites class. Heard him say plenty of times the TLD bike was not up to par. Not hating on him but he seems to be always making a excuse when being interviewed.

This.

Shane is a great person. Someone to look up to...not bash.

Almost looked like he was pointing more towards something in the track than on the bike?

So is there no footage of Kitchen's crash? Also I just rewatched the first race, what do you mean he lost the front wheel?

I still a haven't seen crash footage but the "missing wheel" was just an illusion. The angle the wheel was at in the video of Kitchen laying on the track makes it hard to see as the tire blends in with the dirt. My wife also thought the bike was missing the wheel upon first watch.

Hot take, and definitely have my tinfoil hat on, but I think he wanted to let the leaders by without getting in their way and holding them up, and didn't want to make it look too terribly obvious... Flame on!

It did not look like He wasn't pointing to me ,He turned his head and moved his arm back so he could see why he couldn't keep the pace. Hahahahah ..Like at the chain guide or something. or a weird noise that slowed him down…Yu know when you feel something fuckyyy but don't know what it is …

Also noticed, it was something very intentional and it seemed like maybe he made eye contact with his mechanic as he was doing it.

It was the left side of the bike, so shifter or drivetrain issue? Flat tire could be.

I also contemplated it could be trying to tell Anderson where to go by, although if that were the case, humorously JA21 was going by him on the right hand side as it was happening.

Shane did good. Levy's riding style reminds me a bit Plessinger on 250

Shane was informing his mechanic that “ Jodie was right all along , we need to go up 1 tooth on the rear “
