Garbage track. I say clip Indy, most of the recent races there have been shitty. St Louis usually produced a much better race.

If they hate it, surely the designers know this?...so they build it, all that time and expense, then take it all off and put down dirt?.

My guess is that since the area before and after was the start straight you would have had sand all over the start straight.

The sand section made for better and more challenging races.

Removing it makes things more "vanilla".
