Max Vohland

So the other day I see a video on my Instagram feed & it was of a kid doing a massive whip, he was tagged & it was Max Vohland. Checked out his page & he looks impressive on a bike, very fast & has got a great style.

For the guys that don't know, his father Tallon was a great rider, spending many years doing Grand Prix's on many factory teams. Finished high as 2nd (?) in the 250cc class againt some great riders, Everts, Bierer, Tortelli to name a few. Max's uncle, Tyson, was a decent rider too, he may have done the GP circuit as well (?).

Anyway the point of this thread is this. Is Max Vohland going places in the world of MX. Is he someone who is destined to be a future star?

My crystal ball tells me he's destined for a successful career in porn, with a mid-life transition to daytime television followed by authoring a first-of-its-kind male-oriented romance novel series.

Yes Max is most definitely on the radar to stardom. It's a family affair with Tallon, Tyson and Grandpa Vohland training and riding practically every day. He has everything he needs in coaching and mentoring, it's up to him now.

That's what they said about Travis Pastrana and Robbie Reynard. Predicting someone's success is a foolhardy and pointless exercise. Dude can certainly whip a bike though. I personally wish him the best.

And both of them did go on to stardom? Pastrana especially. Equating MX success to life success is foolhardy & pointless.............

If I'm not mistaken the question and context of this conversation is regarding his potential success as a professional motocross racer, not life in general.Travis quit to do backflips and make oodles of money having fun. Reynard never won the championships he was predicted to win.

Saw him ride last weekend. His dad and him showed up at the end of the day when the sand track was beat to all hell. Straight to motos and whoopin on people, myself included. Kid can ride.

See the kid ride every week, very fast and controlled style. He will for sure make it to the pro ranks!

How well he does with the pro's, remains to be seen.
