Forgive me if this has been brought up before, but am I crazy or can you hear what sounds like Matthes shuffling a couple of Poker chips in his hand while on the Moto:60 and SX/MX Review pods?

its been something they've dealt with for a long time now, but from what I can gather from their conversations, nobody knows who is to blame for the sound.

pretty sure there are some pro circuit poker chips on the table but im not sure if there is enough to really shuffle like you would while sitting at a table. i could be wrong tho.

It has to do with the person on the phone using AirPods. Its usually on JT's end.

I haven’t heard it in a while because I believe JT uses AirPods now but I believe JT used to use the wired headphones with the microphone built in and if he was moving the microphone part would brush up against his shirt or whatever. That’s what it always sounded like to me, but I’m just guessing of course.

I thought I heard them say it was something to do with the Youtube feed and monetizing the broadcast. I hear it on those two Pulp podcasts only. Annoying as it is, I like the “behind the scenes” stuff they share and the banter back and forth. Sounds like cheap poker chips, plastic with the ridges like Grandma had in the rv.
