Super impressed with his speed and humbleness. Here I am thinking I need the perfect pit setup and bike to have a successful local amateur race and he literally races the nationals out of a truck, no pressure washer, and a not perfect bike and rips! And looked like Sunday he gave Deegan and Bennick a run for their money. Great job Matt!

Check out his vlog if you havent already. https://youtu.be/77O8Bq2LMIY

He was looking good at Unadilla. It was good hearing a two stroke out there.

He is a very cool and humble guy. I hope he picks up enough steam to find a more competitive bike to race on next year.

That bike sounded so good at Budds. Watched him go by every time.

Have enjoyed his videos as well. Does not take himself serious at all. It's always cool to see a local pro just enjoying the scene and fast enough to run top 40.

It did sound good, but i could barely hear it over the loud ass 4 strokes that were all around him.

Could only really here him during qualifying, we were sitting right at the mechanics area as he did the wheelie on the parade lap.

And the very next day after racing a National in that heat. You know he was not at 100%.

His results this year are as good if not better than when he's raced four strokes in the past.

Back in the spring he gave Nick Romano a good run at South of the Border at an area qualifier, and if I'm not mistaken he beat Justin Brayton at a local race not too long after. Dude is legit, NC is super proud of him!

Easy top 10 finishes in the 250 class, its a shame they wont let him ride that bike in that class.

I have been following and definitely a fan. Those last few videos with Deegan were really good. Loved the reality of it all. Good times and great rides.

There was another dude out there on a YZ250 as well during qualifying. Don’t think he made the motos though.

I like his vlogs too. He is so chill & is living the privateer life to the fullest while not having a care in the world. He isn’t scared at all & goes out there & rips w/ the best on a YZ250! Good luck Matt, I look forward to more videos! 👊🏼✊🏼✊🏼

Walked past gum and his setup leaving budds. My friend told him good job and he said “Y’all were watching ME?!?” And I said “Everyone was watching you!!!!” Haha, because it’s true. Everytime I heard the 2 stroke I was watching.

Matt posted a video of a local race on Vital maybe a couple of years ago and I have been following him since. I really enjoy the content of his videos and true privateer experience. Dude can ride that YZ! If they allowed equal displacement Matt would regularly beat some Factories in the 250 class.
