Sounds like it’s official now
He just needs to stay healthy. I think he's better outdoors than in and he got a SX win this year so his upside and trajectory is good.

Who is the “one of the greatest amateur racers of all time” they are referring to? I haven’t followed this team enough to know who that is.

What’s the point. He will be getting plenty soon enough. No need to waste $1000
Lol wtf. I mean for years they kept Davalos and he left for the 450s. Marchbanks actually wins a race and hes gone? Did he get axed or he leave on his own?
Gone:
2006 CRF230F
2008 KTM 200 XC
2017 KTM 250 SX
2019 CRF250R
Current: 2021 YZ250F
id love to know the inner workings of this deal. Not really sure where he would have gone though. I know JBone said he'd love to have him at JGR if they added another 250 guy.
On the same note, Crown and the others did really well indoors on those bikes. So they have potential. Interesting, none the less

Alot more professional looking is all. But from the sounds of it mitch and Garrett didn't get along anyways so maybe its just a stab at PC
It’s not like he’s racing in the gear. It’s one photo that he prob didn’t even realize would get out. Hopefully he does good next year. Like someone above said their bikes looked pretty good last year so hopefully his results come and he stays healthy
Kinda the point is your breaking some big news, and posting a photo of a guy your signing in a competitors gear. Wouldn't you take the time and get him team gear and make this announcement look much more professional as a team? marchbanks is a huge catch for a team like club and this signing deserved a much better introduction

I’ve got a set of last years Thor gear he can have for free.
So is his contract with PC up since he’s not coming back for the last national? Did it end on the normal 9:30 date for him?
Alright Lunger, Let's Do It

I agree with this. Almost looks like a spy photo of a rider trying out a bike on the down low. Club def should have done a better job. What gear did they run last year
That’s crazy. Did he and Mitch have a falling out or something? I thought Kawi would hang on to him for a long time
Don't ever let facts get in the way of a great story

Listening to pulp it didn’t sound like Garrett and Mitch got on too well
Seems like a bit of an undeserved demotion if you won the Daytona supercross.
Maybe he thought if no factory sports were available or really low paying, it's better to be on a privateer Yamaha with some limited team support.
Can't imagine the bike would compare well to a Pro Circuit KX250 though.
Edited Date/Time:
Garrett actually trained at ClubMX for a few years during the peak of his Supermini career. Club had their annual Open House over the weekend (tracks open to the public).. Marchbanks sure looked spicy and right at home on the new ride. Crazy to think a rider with his talent level didn't land on another factory program, but I'm stoked for Club on this news. Brandon Haas and crew have built quite the empire out of what used to just be amateur Zach Osbourne's practice track!

It may not be Star Yamaha, but Twisted Development is who builds the ClubMX race team engines, so I honestly don't foresee inferior equipment hindering his results. Their SX team put in some solid finishes last year between Josh Osby, Joey Crown, and Enzo Lopes..
Disgusting. Yet we will give a bunch of amateur racers a factory spot. I don’t even feel like getting started. Never mind
