I know he got 2nd, but practice through the main, he looked great! He looks extremely fit too! He actually looks rather small on that 250 compared to past years!

He did look great. It appears that he was working very hard during the off season.

Yeah I was super pumped for Mookie. Barring the whole running into the down rider thing, I think he had a good chance at winning last night.

Yeah for sure! Malcom looked pretty damn awesome last night. I thought Davalos would end up going down but he had a great race going too. Hope Malcolm can stay consistent through the whole season.

Concur. I was a little skeptical before the season began, but after seeing him in person I'm impressed. He's been putting in work. Sections of the track where guys were struggling, he was solid all day.

I like his style and his creativity. He is so smooth in the ruts and rough stuff just a great technical rider and a pleasure to watch. He was awesome through the dragon back/sand section last night

Edit: ha i misread your post thought it said Marvin but yeah Mookie looked fit and fast i just hope he doesn't crash out and take himself out of the points.

Yeah that was fucking cool. I don't think I've seen someone do that before, just blip the clutch and wheelie away from everybody

His ride was awesome. Davalos had about a :15 lead half way through the race. I fully expected davalos to be as generous as he has been on the past and give mookie the won anyway but no such luck. This week at least.

Davalos was lucky that Mookie went down. Daytona is gonna be a walk in the park for him.

I'm sure he wanted to hit a downed rider and miss an opportunity for the win. (Sarcasm)

With the way they both rode last night, I'm thinking the 250 East is going to come down to a battle between Mookie and Plessinger. Davalos may score another win, but those two were clearly the two best riders on the track.

Hmm two best riders? Did Davalos not win and set the fastest lap time?

He was riding great... his bike looks awesome too... super balanced and obviously Geico found some ponies in that thing, though Mookie does look a little lighter than he has, face is notably leaner. Has anyone asked how much his dreadies weigh?! haha

I'd have liked to have seen how far back the yellow flags were being waved for McElrath though... Davalos was wide heading in and went wide over the dragon's back... Mookie didn't see shit till it was waaaay to late though clearly.

Plessinger had a shitty start and worked his way into third. Mookie was making up ground on Davalos, then decided to plow into McElrath. I'm not big on hypothetical situations, but, all things being equal last night, I don't think Martin would have won.

Hateful because I call out him and his brother having a history of doing stupid crap on the race track...if that's hateful, then I'm ok with that. How do you think McElrath felt about having his night totally ended?..I' sure you don't care about that do you?

It looked like McElrath pretty effectively ended his own night, but that wouldn't fit your agenda now would it?

Dude was fast and still nearly came back to win. Race wins are coming no doubt.

My thought on the Mookie crash was the flagger needed to be on the inside of the track flagging ... not the outside..
don't know if Mookie could see the downed rider until it was to late

Absolutely! I was right at the last hump of the dragons back and the dumb ass flagger was waving riders to the "inside" of the track right where the downed rider was. He did it every time a rider ate it there. Which was a lot! Finally after Malcolm almost put his ass through his dick a guy on the inside of the dragons back came out to wave people to the outside.

But numb nuts was still waving people to the inside on that crash and several others.

The skinny kid on blue was better, not sure where he started but he was the only rider flattening the tables after the 1st turn, ever lap.
