Looking to race mammoth +30 c class how’s the vet weekend? Do you have to hit a qualifier or what are the odds on getting a spot with out one? Any info would be great.

It is a great race . yes you need to qualify . the odds of getting a spot without qualifying is slim to none . #30 c will have qualifying races to make the top 40 .

Super fun race! They do have qualifiers but there are usually plenty of spots left in 30c after the qualifiers are done. Done it three times now from Texas and have yet to do a qualifier. It’s an awesome race! If your bored my brother and I did an instagram and Facebook deal that followed us doing it last year “Aric and Brian do Mammoth”

Kind of up in the air at the moment. I have the days set off from work but just not sure if we can make it happen this year.

You’ve got a qualifier coming up at Prairie City.

Nobody ever told me, I found out for myself. You've got to believe in foolish miracles. It's not how you play the game, it's if you win or lose. You can choose. Don't confuse. Win or lose. It's up to you!

If not, there's always next year.

I'll be 30 in September so I'm going to try to race 30C next year.

Vet weekend is awesome! IMO you do not have to hit a qualifier, the last four years there’s been about 60 riders in 30C and 20-30 in 30B. I’ve gone 9 years straight and only done two qualifiers. I’m assuming they will take 80 guys in 30C, giving them two 40 man heat races, so assuming the trend of the last four years you’d have no problem just signing up.

They want you to 'qualify'. Money. Then they will accept you without qualify too. Money. Just sayin'
Qualifiers are fun too. You pay for what you get.

Why not race a qualifier to get more seat time and prep? Then, not be the guy who gets told to kick sand if they sell out of the open spots? I'd do it if I wanted to race there.

Braaapin' aint easy.
