All I know is what Swap and Anton said on the SwapMoto Live Kickstart yesterday. He had a big one on Tuesday, banged up, plans to be in St Louis.

Okay lets dissect the bike. What on it that is not a Honda part could fail and cause a huge crash? A snapped chain? Seems to happen quite a bit and causes big crashes.

I want to see a track on a football field that has whoops from end zone to end zone, just so I can watch Malcolm go warp speed through them.

This part seems crazy.

Malcolm runs the Renthal 996 TwinWall bar. We cut the crossbar under the pad because he likes the feel of a crossbar-free bike, but likes to have a crossbar in front of him. This way, it allows the TwinWall to flex and have the comfort of a FatBar.

many people do this. I run 997 twinwall with the crossbar removed.

Guess I never noticed it. I'm assuming the flex is different compared to fat bars.

I cant confirm, but from what I have read is that its a bit stiffer then a regular fat bar.

I just mounted a twin wall on my 06 KX250 tonight after trying a Fat Bar for 3 rides and it’s funny how not having the cross bar affected me... just seemed weird like I was going to fall forward or something. I had heard about cutting the cross bar, going to try it first and if it’s as stiff as people say I might cut it.

There's no room for all of the controls on the new bikes with the Twinwall. I'm trying to figure out how to make everything fit

Yeah I loved how Matthes just put it out there bluntly after guys like Swap, Anton, and ML512 all played coy about it.

Have you cut down the bars width, or are they OEM size?.
