With riding motorcycles and fishing as his hobbies, Malcolm spends a fair amount of time outdoors.

He needs to spend more time outdoors with a pair of running shoes on or on a bicycle.

Whats the inside info? Does he have a ride for the great outdoors or is it the privateer effort still?

Gawd dang it! I hope he takes the fitness thing serious. Cardio takes months for it to really help a lot , and it does seem that he's lasting longer in the SX races compared to when he started ( Maybe I'm imagining things ). They'll have Tickle , Barcia and Possibly Weimer out there ( Maybe Weston too if that wrist is healed?). If he works his ass off , maybe get a fill in ride on a Suzuki or another team. Hopefully he gets something going.....but like I said , he's gotta take the cardio stuff seriously.

Big mistake if he doesn't. He has been average in results and that is due to fitness as he has showed good speed. But if he does not do outdoors - it will be a redo of this past off season and will be difficult to get a good (if any) ride in 18.

History has a way of repeating itself.

The best decision would be to race, but I'm guessing he won't and his sx will be mediocre next year. Some people continue to make bad decisions

This kid has the most optomistic fans I've ever seen. Every post has a "if" in it. If he got in shape, if he had a ride, if he took it seriously, and also the "wait till he gets on the 450's" posts from last year.
Malcolm is in his mid 20's, there will be no big break out. As far as the outdoors goes, his results would be the same as indoors. I really don't t think fitness is the problem . I've seen 800 run up front for a few laps many times but he fades also. I dont hear people say that his fitness is holding him back.

I would be willing to bet he doesn't race outdoors which I think is a stupid move because if you didn't get a ride after not riding outdoors and being the East champion how do you expect to get a ride with 1 or 2 450 top tens? Most teams aren't going to remember your supercross season after you've sat out for 5 months while races were going on.

Yeah he is finishing main events on the lead lap...terribly out of shape...

Anyone ever stop to think maybe the Ride365 outfit just doesn't have the funding to do outdoors?

Or is just blindly hating on the Stewart's the norm?

Malcolm is a very talented rider. At times, inspired even. Hope he gets things together enough to reach his potential.

Sweet we are back on the Stewart threads, was getting tired of the Reed ones, oh snap wrong one. This would be good for Malcolm, I hope he rides. Good luck!
