Congrats Wes, I just moved into 199 OA and 12th in CA. The last few weeks have been my best ever. Hopefully one day I'll have the madskills to hang with you guys!

Thanks man! I'm usually consistently in the top 100, and if I get a lot of free time I can usually squeeze my way in to the top 20! But this lap was just perfect, I managed to wheelie scrub the first three jumps perfectly and nailed the rest of the track really good too

Good job dude, I didn't know you were MxWes.. I'm usually a second or two off you and another .5 to 1 off scotty.. I rarely have the patience (or skills) to hammer on it anymore than that. Kinda like Vs more because there's not enough time for even fast guys to hammer down some ridiculous time

Hahaha, I actually beat Nicky Haden in my race to get the number one position! Obviously I beat him by quite a bit since I was somewhere around 100th place at the timeWoohoo

Damn, my goal is to just break into the top 1000 o/a, but i have only been able to do it a few times, always ends up i do good on one track and horrible on the other. Like this week im in the 800's on Boad and clear back in the 3800's on the other track! I just need to find .3 from somewhere. Guess ill just keep running laps and hope to snag that "lucky lap".

...and if you knew the ungodly amount of hours i play this damn game you would be telling me to just quit! BlinkLaughing

There's a few techniques that work, and a lot of time it depends on the track. If there is a long straight after the start I start out leaning all the way forward and then immediately let up when I get on the gas. This allows the front to quickly rise up so you will have to lean forward again almost as soon as you let off. Then you want to try and maintain the front wheel off the ground for as long as you can, and if there is a jump very close after the start try and keep the wheel up all the way to it and possibly do a wheelie scrub if possible. The biggest tip I can give you is to wheelie scrub as many jumps as you can, and if you cant do that to some jumps then absorb them by leaning all the forward right before you hit the jump face. That helps you jump further and stay lower. Leaning back is the worst way to hit a jump on this game, I rarely do it any more unless the track calls for it in a certain area
