In these strange times...The original mad max was over dubbed with American accents. It lost a lot in the telling. If you can find the Australian version (difficult) it is worth a listen. “See you on the road skag. See you on the road like we saw the night rider” - the goose

Last time I saw it here it had the original Aussie accent dialog . Before I clicked I thought this was going to be about Max Vohland.

I've watched it a few times over the years and never knew there was a dubbed into American accent version. You can buy the original version (blue ray) off Amazon for $12 dollaaaaz sum change.

Ever seeing the version with the MX edit?
