MXoN and Rain

Edited Date/Time 9/17/2013 4:53pm
Rain is expected for the coming two weeks in Europe. I mean personally I hope it stops before the MXoN, because Motocross sucks big time when its raining. If it doesn't, how much closer do the euro teams get to Team USA. I can't remember a wet Teutshenthal, but I can imagine it will be pretty slippy.

With rain I would have to tip Team Belgium as favorites. Opinions anyone?

I rode tthal when it rained A LITTLE, it was like riding on ice on some spots its crazy...
I hope it wont rain because it wouldnt be good racing unless they put some new sand or anything on the track for the desnations
if it does I guess GB and Belgium are gonna be good (not gonna say favourites but pretty close to the us)

If/when Wilson finishes a season healthy, we (UK) will have a fighting chance of a win I think.

Its about time we got on the podium anyway, we've had a pretty decent team for the past few years now but always come up a bit short.

France should look good too if it rains. Not so much if it's dry...

I had a feeling it was gonna rain this year, even Tweeted Cox awhile back to tell him to take a waterproof, it's been awhile since we had a wet Des Nations!!

And if Team GB pull off something special that weekend.. Wow, that would be pretty emotional right there. That being said however, if it does rain, ANYONE of the top teams can walk away with it! And you sure as hell can't write off Team USA just because of a little rain..!

I just checked the forecast, and there's 100 percent chance of a bunch more Geoff threads between now and the MXoN, most of them talking about how ___________ will allow Euro teams to get closer to the U.S.

After two weeks, there's 100 percent chance that Geoff will disappear until next season.

Oh, BTW...what's slippy?

Don't worry. We are keeping all the water in Colorado. There won't be any moisture left for Europe.
This was a great riding road up to last week. Not so much anymore!

Not a single person in his thread is praying for rain.

Barcia might be one of the best mudders I've seen... He just wrings it out.

Can't think of Eli havin an epic mudder but he loves the sand so that usually translates...

Not that kind of muddy. I think we talk about hard pack, slick, slippery kind of muddy.

Can't help to remember the clinic that Ken put on when it started to rain in St Jean '11. I'd put my money on him.

won't be muddy no matter how hard it rains - the ground isn't deep enough.

personally i want a dry race - it's going to be great seeing the testoserone flying around between the young uns from that side and this - - measuring contest inbound, prepare yourself.

Nobody praying for rain from what I see, some people could say the U.S were praying for something other than sand so they stood a chance, but that would be terribly juvenile
