4 out of the top 5 teams have lousy gate picks for qualifying races. At least it's fair in that respect. It will make qualifying races a little more exciting and more intense. There won't be any safe settling for a position since most of the fastest guys are gonna have to claw their way through the field and pass a lot of riders to get good finishes and good gate picks for the races. Unless they pull off a great start anyway.

Hows the start layout look? I'm guessing standard MXGP style that favors big time to the inside making gate pick more critical than usual?

This will be interesting with Prado,Gajser,Jonas,Jasakonis,Olsen and the Italians all well inside virtually all the favorites.

If 20 qualify they could virtually all avoid the B Final too if I'm thinking right?

When I first heard we weren't sending a team I was definitely bummed but didn't think too much of it, but after seeing the team presentations and all the different graphics and gear setups I'm actually quite disappointed that we aren't attending. Hopefully next year I guess.
