That absolutely blows for Simpson, I'm gutted for him. England can still do ok in the results overall I guess.

I hope Denmark and Canada get up there and dice it up at the front. Excited for some good racing tomorrow!

So sorry for Simpson.
I truly hope Italy wins it, simply for 222. What a class act for his entire career. Feel free to disagree but anyone who does can kiss my hairy redneck ass right in the balloon knot.

He's still going to ride. As long as he can control the pain he should be ok. It's surprising how little you use thumbs to ride. I had a bad injury to mine and had the joint removed (it's now an inch shorter) and it never affected my riding.

BTW apparently Herlings didn't use his start device in his qualifying race but I don't know if that was deliberate or an oversight.

Looks like most wants to see Italy win for TC send off. But France will likely win again as every other team has bad luck. Maybe not with lucky charm Paulin retired from MXoN?

Not so sure about that. If the Dutch give Coldenhoff the first gate pick and anticipate a scratch result for vd Moosdijk and then Herlings second gate pick in his races (he’ll get to the front anyway) I see no team getting near the Netherlands.

Imo it will depend on Lupino. Today he didn't look great but he didn't have anything to gain in that race either unless he got a 3rd or better

Guadagnini > v/d Moosdijk
Coldenhoff is likely to finish 2nd or 3rd behind Cairoli and then one of vd Moosdijk’s results will decide it imo.

This race always has too much variables and strange luck and fastest team doesn't always win. Thats what makes it greatest and roller coaster. I hope to see Italy win with Tony winning last moto as GP champ is too far for him to win now. It is my hope anyway but Dutchies have to be favorite right now with Herlings in form and FMOTP with 1 good race from Moose

B-Final riders are doing their warm-up. Seems like Morocco, Silva from Portugal and Nerush from Ukraine aren't lining up today.

I guess it's between Finland and Ireland for the last spot in A-final.

I think the track could use a drizzle to make it a little softer. I've never seen Mantova so hard-based as this weekend.
