Cairoli is just Magnificent ! Woohoo

I've never let myself get into favouring or disfavouring any Nations Team each year for the MXDN.

I just watch ( and I've been lucky to attend a few) and appreciate it all, despite that evil f**k Luongo reeling in the money.

But bloody Hell, I'm breaking that rule this year. I would love to see Cairoli, with his Teammates Speed Guada ( have a squizz at his helmet) and Lupino, get the win here this weekend.

That's nothing against any other Team or individual riders, just me wanting to see AC , his teammates, and, Italy, get a[nother - they won in 99 and 2002] win at the MXDN.

Even my Danish relos feel the same way, after my call to them at the end of that Moto.Cool

I think they would've done well on this track too.

Just thinking out loud, but does anyone know which team scored the fewest points ever? Was it the year RC, RV and Ferry spanked everyone at Budds? I think that was like 07. If that’s not the lowest certainly it has to be close.

I would assume it would be USAs 1986 team then possibly the 96 team.
In 88 they had a perfect score as well I believe.

What AMA series is in the middle of its championship? Can someone tell me? Every post I’ve done in here is about the GP’s.

Would have been nice to see him get around Benoit. As JT is talking about him perhaps struggling with the pace he was being held up. I was wondering what race he was watching. He was gobbled up in traffic a bit. But outside of AC he absolutely had the pace.

I also thought he was being held up a bit, but that's just my opinion. He's just on a modified Honda from Proven Moto.

He's been riding injured all year too. Needs to get surgery on both his knees.

I'm just proud our guys are out there.

He might have a bit more speed, but needs to put the team in the final first....our other riders are a rookie and a Vet

Indeed. Pretty impressive qualifier for Piccolo so far, though. Fingers crossed.

Bit like Italy (and many other nations), vet in Cairoli, rookie in Guadagnini...

Mewse is flying, he's wittled down a 10 second lead to 5...

JT $ : "The Wall is making Snarky comments"

He's a Funny Bugger. My knees ache when I see someone catch their foot ( like Coldenhoff did) on it. I'd like to see them carve an extra few foot from that wall.

Malin and JT$ are a very good team.

Oh, that Tank Slapper Hofer had going into the 2nd turn was a bit hairy.........

Mewse was really quick pre-season but lost it in the GPs. He's found it now.

Is it me or are those earth movers impressively quick? They should have entered a team.

Tyler was up and down all season. In this race he didn't have to push it either, so saving energy for tomorrow is probably what he was thinking.

Bad start didn't help.

I have faith in T-Dags, he'll send it tomorrow.

I hope so. He knows what to do being his 8th time at MXdN. First time for Wright and Piccolo.

Update on our guys:

Wright had a little issue that dropped him back a couple spots, but managed to get back to 6th. Said it wasn't his best moto, so that's sounds promising.

Piccolo got arm pump near the end of the race, got tight, and that's why he went from 7th to 10th.

8th in qualifying is the best ever for Canada.

I may be biased here but Canada has a pretty solid team. Dylan Wright has some serious speed IF he can keep it on two wheels. and Tyler Medaglia is always a really good bet to stay up and do well. I predict a top 10 for those guys.

Really sucks that Pettis got hurt.

That said, it's not a bad team and I don't see a problem getting in the the top 10.

I'm looking forward to see what Wright can do in the in the team races and individual race. The 109 might impress a few people.

Let's go Team Canada 🇨🇦
Would have been great to have both Wright and Pettis but Tdag is no slouch either . Is Mcnabb even old enough to do this race ? Anyways , Picollo won the title so he earned the spot IMO . Mcnabb will get his chance , no question about that 👍

TDags is definitely no slouch, but he was still off the pace of Wright and Pettis. Yes, McNabb is old enough to race

Piccolo won the title and is holding his own this weekend, but I still think McNabb has more speed. Like you said, he'll get chance. I don't think he'll be in Canada for many more years. Same with Piccolo.

Our current team isn't bad by any stretch of the imagination, but it could have been stronger with a healthy Pettis.

Regardless, Canada is in good hands for awhile.
