Transworld tweeted the race is in the US. But location is undecided.

Where?

Unadilla?

Red Bud?

Millville?

Glen Helen?

Sam Boyd Stadium.

Outdoor-ish style track, 70,000 in attendance, proper marketing, huge opportunity to put MX on the map commercially.

Red Bud would be my top vote.

Unadilla is a great track and the weather is typically fantastic this time of year. I would imagine a huge turnout could be expected as well.

After Lommel 2012, we should have it at some shitty little facility that only Americans ride and know well, and that most of our pros live in close proximity to and do all their testing at.

The new Indiana track looked pretty badass (before the rains came).

It'll never happen, but to see the entire worlds best at Honey Lake MX in Northern CA would be an absolute treat.

Those two are what I'm hoping for too! Unadilla would be phenomenal though.

Wasn't one promised to Glen Helen back in the run-up to the pair of GPs there? That'd seem to be the answer for me.

Too bad Sam Boyd only holds 34,000 ish and is a complete dump. Might be one of the few american stadiums that still sells liquor and lets one person buy as many beers and they can possibly hold though, so you might be on to something there

I'm with Guy B., Glen Helen took a bath of their two GPs, and were promised the MXoN. There are a lot of great tracks and facilities in America, but I think Glen Helen deserves it and has already made the downpayment with those two races.

Competition Park...lmfao. I went out there for that...World Cup was STILL a fun day, gotta admit. I went to the Budds Creek race, and I also went to the Lakewood event. I would LOVE to see one of these come to Millville some day...maybe not 2017 because I agree that GH deserves it...but Millville "someday" would be so rad.

Red Bud.
Beautiful facility.
Not that far from a major international airport.
The area around Lake Michigan is hard to beat this time of the year.

I'd take Millville over Mammoth now that you mention it.

Glen Helen deserves it.

Southwick doesn't seem like they will ever get by all the red tape to hold any big events.

I don't see it being anywhere but Glen Helen.

Zero chance it goes to a track that is not already hosting a National. Also, zero chance it goes to a track that is not fairly close to a major airport. Tracks out out in the sticks are not going to consideration. That pretty much leaves Lakewood, Hangtown, Red Budd, Milleville and GH. It will be GH...which is cool, because I can drive down to watch.

The LA coliseum would be pretty cool. That way you could have elevation changes, and I dont know what it's like outside the stadium, but you could really stretch the track out by having about 1/3 of the track outside the stadium. Not to mention the amount of seating they have.

Indiana National is not to far from Indianapolis International Airport...

Yeah, once the track hits downtown Compton, the speeds will really pick-up!

How about Catalina...
