Awesome. I wish I could have made it over there for this MXDN. That part of Italy is such a beautiful part of the world, it is one of my favorite tracks and the Italians are so passionate about motorsport racing. I can only imagine how much fun it'd be.

All you have to do is see David's feelings on this and know how important this race is. We have to get this race to where it is the first race that is thought about and not the last.

I was in the Air Force and stationed in Germany when the 1985 MX Des Nations was held. Bailey, Ward and Lechien took it to them. I couldn't go and to this day it's one of my biggest regrets.

I'm ready to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the event:

Stars and stripe flag in above picture is the one you see at the beginning of the video and on timeline 20:02 when Johnny'O overtakes Dave Thorpe.

My personal countodwn has started.

I don't think that video could have ended any better than that.

Obviously, that was an incredible memory and performance that the USA can always remember.

With this video, I have to say what an incredible guy DB is. Man, he looks great, looks happy, and is obviously in good shape! Got some cannons!

He's a true inspiration, in many ways! And go Team USA! I think they have a good chance.

Bailey just bleeds passion for this sport. You can tell from just watching a short segment like this.

Really cool. One of the very best this sport has seen. Cool vid.

The best USA team of all-time? All 3 are iconic MX stars for sure. Bailey's closing statements are moving. "On that day we were kings."

It's interesting that 86 is such a focal point. We won a lot of years, but this one seems to stand above the rest (says the guy with an 86 CR in his garage haha!) So what was it - the dominant performance? The incredible personalities on the team? The U.S. production bikes going up against European works bikes? O'Shows ride on the 125? I guess the answer is probably all of the above.

It would be great to get our win record back on track this year, but I don't see our guys doing it quite like the 86 team!!

It was the first, and only time that any team had gone 1-2 in every Moto.
