It started months ago over in Europe.

We don't have a chance this year. We are too different and have nothing like the Euro's do.

I wouldn’t say Hangtown was practice for this years MXON’s, Southwick maybe.

I think you could do thousands of laps at hangtown and they'd still do you no good in the deep sands at Assen Woohoo

If the nations were held at hangtown, Tomac would win both Motos

Probably Gajser would win, hard packed track. Am sorry my dudes but actually europeans motocrossers are a step forward compared to americans. Not talking about sx, but mx.

Assen would probably be the best case scenario of the Euro sand tracks. Kind of a bummer nobody has faith in USA for next year i think they may surprise some people. But after last yrs performance the hate is understandable.

Tomac is the reining champion going into this season, but things may be a bit different this season. Webb is happy on a his KTM, Roczen is coming back in heathy, Bagget has been better in SX and can always be a player, Marvin has to feel that he's left it on the table a coupe of times already, Savagy is prime to be up front as a rookie and it's has happen in the past that someone out of the top ten sneak's a win in. The only thing for sure is we'll see when the gate drops and the checkered flag flies.

People always look past the even format being 100% MXGP style as well. 2 day format with a qualifying race the day before. Id imagine the training is just a tad different at that level for the different format. Just a guess

Have you looked at Eli’s moto by moto result from the outdoor season last year? Obviously Webb has made a giant leap this year but Eli was in his own zipcode last year.

As much as all of these guys ride, that shouldn't be an issue.

If anything, it's more time to get the bike better for the main motos.

I have faith that America can top 5 in Assen. I also agree with the guy who said we could practice at hangtown until our wheels fell off and still not be prepared for ASSEN. Ive been wondering why it's such a big deal when the USA team doesnt win. Why do we all talk about the ifs ands and buts when they lose? Noone does that shit with italy or germany or belgium. Why is the US held to a higher standard?

At least now we can see that Tomac riding the '19 was a big mistake. Maybe he'll have dialed in my MXON. It will at least help...

Osbourne, Barcia both will want to ride. They put on their USA sleeves and give it all.
Kawasaki have already given Eli his excuse not to be beaten in Assen by saying they wont be supporting the event. Nice by Kawasaki to make the decision as this way Eli wont get bashed when he declines the offer to go.

Whacko, Barcia.. awesome picks. Maybe Covington on the 250 if he gets it rolling outdoors this summer? That’s 3 real solid sand riders who will leave every bit of it out on the track. That’s all you can ask for win, lose, or draw isn’t it?

Whatever the US team, it will be a big result if they can get on the box there. Whatever happens it will be simply epic.

I can't imagine that any of our top guys want to head over for a sand track beating.

We havent even seen Webb's speed outdoors yet and everyone is picking teams already? Tomac is gonna yard him but he could very well be the best of the rest

I think realistically team USA will hope for a podium, Netherlands & Belgium will be very strong. Team GB have good sand riders & you can never rule our France.

I’ve said before, there are 3 types of MX, your normal MX, SX & the sand riding. SX & sand surfing cannot be learnt in a month.
