Jonass is showing what I hoped he would this year. He is the dominant force and I'm very impressed with him so far. Great rides from Sanayei, Olsen and Watson to get 6th at the end there.

Not a massive fan if this track, I don't think it's bad, I just don't see anywhere where you can really gain time. I think that's why we saw everyone so close together. Hopefully tomorrow there will be more lines and it will be better for racing

Yeah not a bad track for an essentially flat piece of land, sand gives it a bit of character/interest.

Herlings could still win this.

Edit: No, 2 bad laps from Herlings.

A bit wide open everywhere at the moment, gaining time not easy.
Tomorrow should be better

It's really really good to see this kind of speed from Gajser and Febvre for the first time this season

Herlings dropped anchor ? LaughingLaughing Tomorrow a good start will be vital , Gajser and Cairoli battle for the win , maybe Febvre in the mix ..

It's only a qualifying race, but the series really needed a race like that where Cairoli and Herlings we're outside the top 3. We need guys like Gajser and Febvre to show this level for the rest of the season. Everyone knows they are capable of it

It looks like it was Haavisto who was laying down on the start corner. Risky to let the race go with an injured rider on the ground at that high speed part of the track.

Really happy for Pocock. He has a lot more experience than most in this class, but to come back from the injuries he had is great to see. Very impressed with Goupillon, he was absolutely flying

Any news on James Dunn, was he involved in one of the start straight crashes?
I think his bike quit in the startgate

What a mess EMX250 will be this year. In a good way, but finishing 5th every moto could win you the championship. The guys that came through the last chance were all in the points at one point, and 3 of them would have probably scored points if Vilanueva wouldn’t have gone missing at the end. It’s just so close, you could finish 25th in one moto and 5th in the next one. Just crazy.

Actuallu good to see Herlings and Cairoli getting beat. Things could be different tomorrow though.
