Shame it's his last year in MX2 to impress and get a decent ride with a view going back home in 2020.
Pit Row
Still great result
Not so long time
- many people forgot how mx was during 50 years before the groom trend that started about 10 years ago, which created sometimes rutocross, both to absord more the crashes, but also to slow down racing by eating up horse powers, which may have been partly caused by the 4 stroke displacement rule as the 450 are a bit too much.
- the riders are not as used to ride this kind of tracks as they were, which may have been a factor this week end as we saw unfortunately some nasty crashes (and because that track has some sections that are bit too high speed probably, but nothing crazy either, all have fast sections and just the last 2 week ends pala and thunder valley also had some very fast sectors, and at thunder valley the2 fast parts are even more difficult because they are really rutty and bumpy). Basically it is a track that is prepared like in the past, little to no grooming, and water, which is how most tracks still look like in europe for practice after a bit of rain. And btw I even prefer sand (not deep one), i just like untouched/natural soils preferably with a bit of water.
