Welcome to the saturday discussion topic of the 12th MXGP round at Mantova, Italy!

Another weekend with lots of racing. Tonight we have the AMA outdoor national at Muddy Creek. But before that we have the Qualification races at Mantova, and the EMX 1st motos.

This weekend at Mantova, again a whole lot of classes will be racing. Outside of the regular MXGP / MX2 class there will also be EMX 125 / EMX 250 / WMX races.





All the times displayed are CEST time zone (Central EU Summer Time). 6 hours ahead of usa east coast time, and 9 hours ahead of west coast time.

Van De Ven got the holeshot, but gave up the lead to Lancelot after 1 lap. Track looks really awesome so far!

OH, Van De Ven & Lancelot collided and both went down just now!

5 Min + 2 laps to go for the girls. Fontanesi leading with still Papenmeier following closely. Lancelot remounted and got up to 3rd now!

Yep i'd love to see Van De Ven do good, seen her ride since she was on 50s around the Zeeland tracks in Netherlands. Looks like she went down just now though... Bummer!

DNF for the rider 2nd in points Nancy Van De Ven. Looks like her bike was damaged, very likely from the T-Bone incident with Lancelot from before.

Next up, MX2 Qualification race in about 10 minutes from now. Seewer looked really good today so far from what i heard. Hopefully he can get a start and hang with JH84 Cool

So, Herlings have a fracture in his foot after that battle with Sewer. No wonder he was pissed.

After practice an emx rider was riding toward his camper then he went lights out... collapsed because of the heat. Myself I spend most of the day it the camper under the airco got maself a nice heatstroke... fever, barfin... guess I'm good now watched the women class heartbraking to see nancy vd ven leave the track.. now 27 points behind lancelot.

Ferrandis takes the holeshot! Anstie goes down in the 2nd corner and takes a whole bunch of guys down with him. Both Seewer & Herlings got held up in the incident. Paturel now into the lead!

Ferrandis took the lead back from Paturel. Herlings making moves through the field, he is now in 6th.

Dang that sounds gnarly! I hope the rider will be okay. Europe has been hit with a serious heat wave the past days.

Herlings made moves into 2nd place. But Ferrandis has a 10+ seconds gap on him. Lets see if he can close it up!

Both Herlings & Ferrandis are flying. Putting in fast laps. But the laptimes are within a second of eachother. So Herlings isn't really making up much ground. Only 5 min + 2 laps to go!

Seewer made it up to 7th now. Anstie 21st.

Davy Pootjes, the other dutch kid riding for Red Bull KTM is currently in 4th. I hope he can get some good results in tomorrow. I feel like he has so much potential, just had so much bad luck. Perhaps switched to a 250f to soon.
