Sounds good to me. The more motocross racing on tv the better!

I hope they have an exciting commentator and not the usual wet blankets announcing like its a game of bowls.

Poor example I just made up:

MXGP'S: "Ah yes there goes the former champ Cairoli... very fast on todays track"
Vs
AMA Outdoors" MULTI TIME CHAMP VILLOPOTO IS ABSOLUTELY DOMINATING THE COURSE JEFF!"

...Malin might not have a lot of excitement but he can tell you 5-10 things about every single rider on the gate. He know's his stuff. When Wheeler is in the booth with him I think it's a strong duo for MX announcing.

Fun fact : When a rider fall down Malin always says, "he's on the floor".

Brits say the weirdest things...

Tend to agree, for American television an American voice is better suited. I love how the American commentators go over the top with their voice. Problem is, American commentators are considered loud mouths and aggitating in many other countries. For everyone their own. I do prefer the US sports people more because of their excitement level. Maler is brilliant as is Adam Wheeler, but getting the excitement level on high they are not. Still Malin has good insight to the sport, much like Emig does when he is working.

I've always thought Malin did a great job, just a different style. This is great news as it should reach more people here.

This is great! If I'm watching anything other than American MX or SX I'd rather have a foreign commentator.

I take proper information over excessive excitment and clichés all day long.

Like sitcoms, I don't need anyone to tell me when to laugh.

haha at least we can spell colour
i think maler does a good job and least he doesn't have to say things like 'brought to you by the 2014 kxf450 etc etc'

I think malin doas a great job, but the team behind the cameras aren't as good as the american.

The ama-guys always do a very great job at setting the cameras at the right places an switching at the very best moment, youthstream needs to step it up in that corner. Of course sometimes the commercials fuck things up, but thats free-tv.

Was about to give you a load of shit for calling Malin a 'wet blanket' but then I heard that Eurosport are taking GPs also. They tend to do their own production and commentary. Maybe CBS will as well?
