Good battle between Anderson and Kras.

The old man (36) is so good to watch - such a bulldog.. Twice Brit MX1 champ, twice Brit Red Bull Pro Champ ( I always find it a bit confusing with the various Brit series, it seems each year there are about 3 of them) and 2 times MXDN team rider. Trying to put his status in context for our mostly US fans here, I can't put forward someone to equate him with - he's not of 'superstar' status that so many near worship, but far more than a top tenner. No pretensions, no bullshit from him. He's not bad for a Pommy Bastard..........

It's going to be brutal out there, throughout the weekend.
Maybe someone like Andrew Short would be a good comparison ?

MX2 Quali race underway, awesome start for Geerts!

MXGP Also posted that team Belgium for MXON would be announced today, i'ma guess it'll be Lieber / JVH89 / Desalle

Yes , probably. Though Anderson might come under the Hard(er) Bastard / more 'unpolished' bloke category. I like that about a lot of the Brit riders. Mind you, Shorty was renowned for being a Quiet Assassin on a bike.........

I missed the Honda 4t race. Did it piss down during it and / or the breaks? As there was a fair bit of standing water early in the MX2 Qualifier.

That little bloke sitting besides / in the puddle with his toy bike was cool, but he stepped it up a few notches when he sampled the mud off of his left hand!

Kids are awesome!

Jago Geerts to Yamaha next year came as a bit of a surprise to me. Great signing from Yamaha and a missed opportunity from KTM.

Yeah good signing.
Not winning the EMX class before moving up to MX2 doesn't really mean anything if we look at Prado, Gajser, Jonass, and even Roczen

Haha AJ making some great moves right there. Lets see what happens at the end of this race.. I think AJ is gonna get Herlings!

*Looks like Herlings gapped AJ a bit now, closing in on AC a bit!

Anyone know what happened to Weltin in the MX2 quali race? He didn't log all the laps

This MXGP Quali race is AWESOME!!! Tomorrow is gonna be epic! Herlings does it on the last lap and steals the win from Cairoli.

Herlings sounded gassed after that, will what Malin said early in the moto come true? Herlings wins qualy, moto 1 but Cairoli wins moto 2 and the overall. Great race either way!

Wow what a quali race. Anyone saying Cairoli is just bringing the championship home and not going for it is just fooling themselves.

Went down in a rut and pulled out after that.

Covington crashed and had front brake problems since then but came back to 17th.

I've rarely seen Cairoli ride this tight and uncomfortable on the sand.

How wet it was doesn't exactly suit either of them

Malin said he was puffin like his bike... and that was a lot!

Great ride though, he looked like he wanted to prove a point there!

Malin loves the Herlings is struggling in MX1 narrative.

The only thing struggling are his terrible starts
