Maybe some are aware of this already. There is a patch coming to fix the whips/scrubs and traction to rear tire. The link is here: Nordic Patch Info
I know a lot of people were disappointed in the initial release. At least they are open to change. How many game developers have been that into communicating with the community.

I'm on xbox. Servers are great for me. My abandoment percentage is 0. And those people are fast, I always get smoked.
We have good news in that we found a way to make whips and scrubs more manageable and responsive for both the Stock and Factory frames. There's more of a 1-1 control and connection, plus its easier to bring the bike back once you get it out there.
We also gave more traction to the rear tire when you lean back with the reflex stick. Really stabilizes the bike when exiting corners or in whoops and hooks up better on the start.
Great reception from our test team on the revised physics. Whips and scrubs are more controllable and people are getting faster lap times all around.

There's the post by Ken from a few days ago. The patch is also supposed to help with the connection issues, which will be nice because that's the whole reason I've rarely played the game. My F1 disc on the other hand is fixing to start smoking.
But I got a copy of MXGP for PS4 a week ago and I'm so happy I did. This game is so much more polished than MXvsATV.
The physics of this game are great (of course there's always room for improvement).
Racing in this game is actually fun, it "feels" like your riding a dirt bike and you really have to control how you apply throttle/brake.
I play only three games, GT6, MXGP (MXvsATV before) and Battlefiled. Being a 40 year old who played video games since teens I highly recommend MXGP over MXvsATV.
