Great news! There is going to be a MX1 & MX2 GP held in Finland July 2013! No info on exact track or date, but I'm thrilled!

If I am in country (or close to it) at that time , I WILL be there! I periodically go to Norway for work. Finland (or SWE for that matter) are not too far away.

The GP schedule is quite packed in July already, but good for the Finns for sure!

Too bad it won't be at Ruskeasanta. As a Finn I've been to quite a few GP's in Finland... Ruskeasanta, Salo, Heinola, Hyvinkää (old & new) and Vantaa (new one).

Seems like it might replace the Russian GP according to rumours...

Where in Norway do you go to for work? The Swedish GP is only 2,5 hours from Oslo.

To Sunhouse: I work for the USA vendor for AADI / Aandrea. When I get over there, I will be in Bergen, Norway.

I recently started work for this company and am hoping to align a training seminar with the Swedish GP. Either way, I'll be in touch.

Sweet! Hopefully I will be in germany at the time so I can go back to Finland to see family and a GP!

Rumor is that the TBA GP's will be Sevlievo and Lierop.

YES!! i've been waiting 19 yrs for this!
Was at the vantaa GP 1993 and heinola GP 1994 (Albertyn kinda dominated both) and this year finally I get to go for a real MX event in finland again.. MX3 last year was an disappointment!

Hyvinkää has been announced as the host of the race. It's a sandtrack that will be really rough.

I will keep waiting until Luongo wakes up and thinks how cool would be a GP in a moon landscape like Iceland...

Any of you Finn's going to be going to the GP? I may be in Germany during the month of July and plan on flying to my homeland again for the GP and hope to catch the German GP as well.

How far from Tampere is the track? My cousins live in Tampere and I would be staying with them.

It's not too far, a bit over 100 kilometers.

Was at the track today for the opening round of the Finnish MX2 championship as well as qualifying for 65cc & 85cc European championship and the organizers have really been doing good work in preparation for the GP, I'm sure it will be a great event!

Wow thats not bad at all! I plan on being there another day or two extra as well and maybe I could hook up with some of y'all and do some riding or what not.
