I hope MA800 is there again this year. He crushed ZO16 and the rest of the competition when he raced it 2 years ago.

Mike is making the trip out west for the race. I know the 125 has a $1500 purse but I can't remember what the 250/Open purse is.

What is the format? 2 moto's per class I'm guessing. Timed or laps?

Nice Bryan! What number are you running? I planned to be there on the 125 as well, ripping the little CR lately:

Problem is, I decided to throw myself on the deck last Sunday and dislocated a wing...Wrenching for 60+ Pops instead now (#380 KTM).

It will be a two moto format on an epic track. Long laptimes today in practice, with a few local rippers looking to upset the Top 10. Betting on Zach Bell, Justin Jones, Mike Brown (yes, that Husky riding and 2001 125cc Outdoor Champ), SL505, TL149, etc...

Great start for Brownie, but dropped out early with what appeared to be a flat front. Flats took out top ten runners Sean Lipanovich and Justin Jones as well. Dubach was holding it down for the 50+ crowd, hovering about top ten or so; simply amazing. Second moto will be nice and rough Cool

Sean is on an '07 cr250 he has owned since new. Well if it's still the same bike he said he was taking a few weeks ago. He was riding it on a Thursday at GH.

Moto 2 unofficial results: Bell, Durham, TL, SL505, Jones, Surrat, Brown, Taylor, Shirey (46), Dubach, Stapo

Barn burner, unlike Moto 1, with a last lap pass for the overall! Crazy skewed results and lots of flip flopping for the O/A - Welcome to the two stroke life Cool

Highlights include Dubach with a Top 10 Overall on a stock YZ250 with a 3S front and a Dr.D pipe/silencer, the 4-7 position brawl throughout the entire race, Borkenhagen getting 3rd O/A in 125 Pro after Top 10ing the Open Pro Moto 1 and coming from basically dead last in 125 Moto 2 to do it, and watching Durham n Bell put on one heck of a show for the Overall...

Long lines getting in, not quite sure what GH staff is thinking with only one lane for entry...Only delayed practice by 20+ mins with some still trying to sign up as practice was going off.

Unrelated quibble - What kind of race organization calls for transponders for scoring, but doesn’t have enough brackets to mount them? Frustrating GH, frustrating...

Last ‘negative’ comments before some 2T shots; Who the heck throws 7 Women racers out in front of 30+ 60 year olds and Vintage Racers? This AM gate schedule was redacted, on the line, and Race 2 was an absolute cluster for those who were supposed to be on gates 1 and 2. With Women taking off on gate 1, there were 60+ Experts from gate 2 literally blowing past them...Half a lap in.

Also, it would have been nice to hear the podium speeches from the Pros. Instead of running a full gate of Experts followed by a large Novice gate, why not run the mini 50cc shredders? I was standing less than 100’ from the Winner’s Balcony and couldn’t hear a thing...It worked great for the 125cc Pros, having 65cc’s running directly afterwards and during podium speeches, but not the big show.
