He said that Eli took a line that no one had taken all night. If that’s the case, how did this big ass rut get there?

How would Marvin know what line Eli was taking? He was in the lead the whole race.

Well according to some, had Eli actually taken a line no one else had taken all "day" as Marvin was saying, he wouldn't have left the door open and would have gone on to win the race. Also, not sure how MM25 knew what line through that section Eli was taking when MM was in front of him the whole race until the last lap.

MM25 should just own up to what he did and stop making weak excuses. Just say something like, "Ya, took a super aggressive line into the section so I could get the win. In hindsight, it was pretty aggressive, but sometimes that's what it takes to get a 450SX main event win. Deal with it.".

Whatever happened to protect the inside?

Tomac went wide, Marvin made an aggressive move. Racing 101.

Holy shit! I can't believe it took 5 days for someone to finally point that out!

At the end of the day it really doesn't matter if it holds water, the cheque still cashed and and the win is in the record books. That's all that matters.

I as much as allot of people did't like the pass. The horse has already produced all the glue, let it go. I am more interested in watching all the Eli haters if you will, Kiss his soft cry babey little tampax ass when he wins the Denations race for us. Maybe next race there will be a board in the pits that says. Remember Vital is Watching.

Went wide? That was the farthest inside he could go without going on flat ground... I think it was great racing and really don’t care what happened. Just looking forward to see what happens next!

Then he should've taken the flat line, the line Marvin took, no? Yes that's the lowest rut but he's still in the middle of the track.

I like both the guys and don't have a vandetta against anyone out there. Im just all for good racing. Tomac could've prevented it by guarding his inside or Marvin could've coward and not try to get the lead back after getting passed.

This is s very good question. The whole world could be turned on it's head depending on what he has to say.

hang on, if you want to protect the inside why would you only target the innermost rut....regardless of whether the inside line is a rut or flat ground....he left a gap....any racer on the last lap is going to take advantage of that

I dig the pass I honestly just really wish MM25 would own it instead of acting like he had no idea he was going to hit Tomac. Got to wonder if it was KTM telling him to deny it being intentional haha

Well if you've ever gone around a corner you'd know the fastest was around it is an apex which is what that inside rut is. If Marvins route was the quickest you'd have seen guys taking it all night, but the other guys didn't have someone to bounce off of unfortunately. Grinning

His "excuse" doesn't have to hold water, all that matters is the outcome of the pass and he won. Cool

They collided at the apex of the turn.. This isn't Motogp it's SX Marvin had just as much right to be entering where he did as Eli had to be exiting the same place.. The shit Eli had to think about to try to stay in front of Marvin is what we all (or at least I) love about our sport
4/25/2018 11:33pm
The most important question has not been asked.... Is it the first time Marvin hasn’t done a heel clicker over the finish for a win?

How would Marvin know what line Eli was taking? He was in the lead the whole race.
Finally!!! All the crap threads that have been on here (have read most of them) and this is the 1st time it has been mentioned.

IMO it was a hard pass but not dirty BUT cannot believe ET3 gave bike the opportunity, looking forward to some hard racing till the end of series - as long as it’s not dirty fine with me.
