ML thinks we’ll have 9 OEMS next year…

Will we see top 5 factory guys on a Beta or Triumph? Or do they take guys like Deano, Savatgy, and McElrath? Maybe one of them will write an open check to try and get (or close to) a championship right off the bat. Obviously anyone considering riding the bike will put good time on it before committing. Even for a blank check.

I think it’s a good timing with riders extending their careers longer in the 450 class and the amount of 250f guys soon to be looking for a ride.

Next year you will possibly have Jmart, Colt, Justin Cooper, Forkner, and Cristian Craig looking at full time 450 rides on top of an already stacked 450 class that may retire 1-2 this year at most.

We need more 450 rides stat. Rides that pay well enough to keep the best riders active and engaged in this sport we all love.

Some members of this forum think that Webb is going to struggle this year because of the 'New' bike, and here you are thinking a new manufacturer could come in and win at their first try?? WHAT??

There are enough top riders to go around; but, the cost of having 2 contenders is gonna go up. Having Tomac AND Dylan or Kenny AND Sexton or Anderson AND Cianciarulo will cost more when 9 brands are competing for them.

Also, the competition for “the usual” title sponsors could get interesting, too.

Beta has an MXGP year under their belt, I see them being ready to go. For Triumph to make it, we're going to have to see some bikes and testing going on really soon...

Why not bring Lupino over in 2023? He's already doing the 2022 GPs with Beta and like we saw at Pala on a borrowed bike, he can put in some decent results. Beta is tiny compared to Triumph, so i don't think Beta will sign a top 5 capable rider from day one. I could see Triumph doing that.

they aint worth listening to, Webb won the first year on the Brand, nevermind a new model of bike.
