The track looks cool but that start is goofy... hopefully the barriers separate the lanes until the guys are straightened up. Nothing good can happen on a dry, flat, slick corner with oncoming traffic, lots of sideswiping.

So the joker lane is a much slower lane you have to use once? They should make it a faster lane you can use once... that way they save it for a pass... instead of using it while there's no one behind not to get passed...

Well to me, it looks like a track that'll be way harder to win 3 motos straight on. Which is probably exactly what Monster want.

I don't want to be mr. Pessimism but I think the track is quite unsafe. The start, where the 2 lanes collide, has carnage written all over it. And the joker lane? So the rider has to BRAKE and then turn 90° on a STRAIGHT? Imagine Dungey breaking and turning left because he's going to take the 'Joker lane' and Villopoto is full throttle behind him ...

Also (except for the Talluga turn) I don't see many "nationals" type obstacles. Sounds to me like a special supercross track instead of a hybride track ...

It looks cool though ...

Looks like a supercross track with a Glen Helen corner, maybe they need to add some MX GP "waves" lol. Should be good to watch though.

Pretty cool that they are adding some strategy into the race with the joker lane, that split start that merges together in a fast straight looks like it could get interesting. Looking forward to this race quite a bit, don't care who wins just as long as they all come out healthy.

It seems to be a lot more like a Supercross track this year with some unique features; rather than a hybrid Supercross/Motocross track. I'm looking forward to seeing how the sweeper in the stands plays out, as well as the split section start. 'The Joker Lane' will be interesting, I'm sure.

By then I'll already be desperately craving some pro racing; it should be a good race to follow this year also. I just hope everyone gets out of there healthy.

I'm sure they've thought about the safety concerns of the merging lanes. Nothing a couple 8x4x5 tuff block walls can't fix.

1:12 lap time, per hops?
