Everyone but Friese is running the 2020. Not enough parts in yet for the 2021. They feel good with where they were to end the season with the 2020.

Do you guys just see a random picture and run to vital without doing any sort of research? This has been discussed over and over and over.

Yes, they've done this the last time Honda came out with a new 450. As a smaller team, limited time and resources to get the 21 developed they run the previous model since it's all dialed, and ready to go.

When the 16's came out basically everybody but HRC was still on 15's for SX if I remember correctly.
Maybe it was Kawi or the Austrian guys but I also remember them running a previous generation engine right when the new bike came out. Maybe it was around 11 or 12.

I think you mean the ‘17 CRF when they did the major update, but you’re right. A lot of people ran a previous gen and there wasn’t even a logistical problem like they’ve had this year.

What???? In 2016, the factory in Japan was severely damaged due to an earthquake, just before they launched the new model. The new CRF was way harder to get at that time than it is this year. Didn't get my 2017 model untill February of 2017
