Holy cow... live moto on any device....

Ran across Dave DeSpain's show and watched an interview with Kenny Roberts and will go back for so many MX and sx riders...

Watched MXGP recap show for Matterly basin.... and will go back to watch the others....

endurocross....Mini olympics......arenacross.....dang

Biggest gripe is commercials during the race. Shouldn’t happen if you’re paying a subscription

For us international folk, last year we could use NBC gold and get all motos live and commercial free. MAVTV is a step backwards.

Cable and direct TV have commercials as do many other streaming services depending on the level of package you pony up for.

It’s a great deal as long as it does not eliminate coverage on main stream TV. Main stream TV is the only way the sport grows.

Ok, I have Mavtv via Fubo. So I get the races, but is that with commercials I assume?

I'll gladly buy MavTV app for the MX if necessary.

Commercials during the moto's definitely won't make me happy, that's for sure, but we have to see how that works out. So far I'm actually really happy that we international viewers have an cheap option again and don't have to fuck around with VPN just to save some bucks, being able to watch stuff from any device without VPN is a big PLUS. I hope one day there will be SX + outdoors on the same page with equal costs for anyone in the world.
What I've seen that you can manually set the quality to whatever you like, which happened automatically at peacock, often resulting in random 480p/low quality spikes, with the best internet here, for whatever reason.

Might not buy it if it's not commercial free. I have IPTV with MAVTV so i'll watch the races from there or the next day online.

I would gladly pay the 7€/month if it would truly be commercial free. But i'm never gonna pay for a subscription service that still has commercials in it mid races.

I'm glad to be able to watch what is shaping up to an unmissable season, especially with Cairoli and Dungey making a comeback (not utterly dissimilar in excitement levels to when RV signed up for the GPs in 2015 imo). That said I'm going to miss NBC Gold if we're now going to be saddled with sodding commercials that play every 5 mins...

I watched a live late model race last night that was on both Mavtv and Mavtv plus.

They only went to commercial during yellow flags or between races.
When they went to a commercial the app still had the video feed going so I could see what was happening on track.

Very grumpily signing up for the app now, it shows chromecast as a feature now, which is a pleasant surprise from what others have been saying. So far it's a little hard to navigate trying to start an account.

Shut your mouth! Damn it... I'm watching the 2021 Pala replay now but the program guide at Mavtv.com says it should be Arenacross so I guess Mav"select" is different. I can't find any info on Mav select, didn't know there was a difference.

Thank you for the heads up. Now I can be prepared to not lose my shit at my wife and kids when the gate is supposed to drop and I'm watching lawnmower racing instead, lol

Make sure you use those promos via the website. I signed up through the app and it doesn’t allow the discount. I emailed and they wouldn’t help me. So I paid for first month and cancelled and will reestablish with a promo next month (hopefully).

I am trying to cancel and can't even do that. The commercials are unacceptable.

EDIT: To be fair, it appears this may have been a technical issue. The "live" stream may have replaced the "Plus" feed. This may have been due to the technical issues. I can forgive this for a week or two.

We shall see next week.

I’m so glad I signed up only for one month. I’ll be canceling this service. No way will I pay for a premium subscription and have to watch adds.

The coverage is crap anyways. Somehow they made the SX broadcast look like an all-star production.

Agree. I couldn’t even cancel the subscription earlier since I wasn’t able to log into my account. What a joke..
I’m hoping to cancel it tomorrow when there won’t be as much people trying to log on.
