They are capturing/recording it in HD. The cable/satellite companies are just broadcasting that channel in standard definition.

MaV TV is not streamed on DirecTv in HD. Hasn't been for years. Why? Who knows. but it's only standard definition on directv.

When I go on mavtv 810.. Everything over ch400 is HD. When I go to non high definition channels(399) and below the picture doesn't even fill my screen. On my mavTV 810 the picture is the exact same as the msnbc picture(590), no difference. I even checked several times before posting, knowing someone would be ready and dying to blow me out.

I even called my buddy who works for Verizon and he lives next to me, he said yes we get it in HD

HD in my neck of the woods. Spectrum Cable. What burns my ass is having to wait until tomorrow to watch the 2nd motos. Yes, I know I could spend the $50 but where does it stop. I watch UFC, Motocross, MotoGP, WSBK, etc., etc. I'm not going to pay $50 for everything I'm interested in on top of the cable bill which is too expensive as it is.
