Loretta Lynn's may get moved

Why? How credible is this? Moving rumors cycle around every so often.

That's the rumor every year.

She did just have a stroke so things may be changing there.

Nerds to be moved to DuQuoin state fairgrounds.

This place already holds huge events, there is an mx track already there and the amenities are 2nd to none.

Sunset Ridge is the only logical choice

I'll believe it when I see it. Not saying it's not possible, but I hear this every year.

Congratulations racingfortheson, you have now claimed the annual award as the first person to suggest Loretta Lynn's is being moved for this calendar year, joining a long list of distinguished (though misinformed) people who holeshot the rumor mill, but with errant information... It's happened every year since 1982, and it will surely happen for years to come. Not sure what stems these rumors, but it's become a time-honored tradition. We're used to it. but we're not going anywhere.

For what it's worth I have never heard of another nearby ranch, and we are quite happy with the folks at the ranch. Loretta is recovering from her stroke and was released from the hospital recently. We are hoping and praying she will get back to her old self. She and the ranch and the people of Humphreys County have been wonderful hosts over the years and we are staying put.
