Could it potentially be Robin McClain? I know he's ridden a husa there before, maybe it defaulted or maybe he actually rode his old steed.

No surprises there. Honda makes only one competition “mini” the 150R and RB. Suzuki has a dated 85. Kawasaki has no 50cc MX bike. Yamaha has the PW, but no fast 50. KTM/HUSKY has all the gaps filled.

Oh but the Japanese killing it in the play bike market. KTM too busy counting all that cash to bother.

There's a guy on a KTM 125 with red plastic that entered it as a Gas Gas. It comes up on scoring as "other".

I know one is a "GasGas" in the 125 class.

Not actually one of the newer bikes. Literally just a KTM with GasGas graphics. It showed as OTH on the screen.

There should have been a pit bike class to really represent the turnout.

I don't know but if I did I would ship the dude a case of beer (of his choice) for being a true American hero. I really wish KTM would bring Husaberg back and let them do their own thing again, those were some of my all time favorite bikes.

It’ll be interesting to see what bikes end up on the podium the most. With all the Suzuki haters on here, there will be some whining going on, if the yellow bikes continue to end up up front.

Not sure if this offer is just for this year, or is valid for previous years, but I raced a Husaberg there in '99 against 41 YZ400s in the 4Stroke class...

All that work put into a bike for the largest amateur race of the year and you show up with tape numbers Blink

Had a mint 95 501 then a 96 supermoto 501 15 years ago. Bikes were bitchin. No electric start. About only bike I have owned it was sort of needed. Bought a 14 berg. Next thing I know I bought three more 09-11s. Love them.

I truly don’t understand Honda’s “fuck it” attitude with mini bikes. Just make an 80!!!

Would be interesting to see the breakdown of just full size bikes. (Yes I know it's dumb of the Japanese to not support minis more)

Hell yeah! I still have a '97 FC501 and a '05 FE650, coolest bikes ever made. I want to track down a '09-'12 with the tilted cylinder head really bad. I really wish Husa and Husky could go back to the all the cool shit they were building pre- 2013.

I competed in sidecar motocross for a good number of years and used engines from ktm, Yamaha, Husaberg and a few specialized sidecar engines.

The Husaberg 650 was by far the best and most reliable. What a fantastic engine that was.

I was a Berg dealer with the 70 degree engine and they sold ok but when the Berg became a KTM clone my sales tripled in one year. That's why I jumped all over becoming a Husqvarna dealer when it was offered. I ignored all the "its just a white KTM" talk because I had a gut feeling they would sell...and they have. Won't shock me to see the red bikes sell as well. Does it cannibalize KTM sales? Its hard to say, my KTM/Husqvarna sales have grown every year and just KTM sales grew even after we became a Husqvarna dealer.
