Tony would rock any brand he threw a leg over.
It's not like he hasn't won World Titles on a Yamaha before....

I’m not sure he has the best relationship with KTM. He didn’t race for the factory in Europe. Also, he has a long relationship with Yamaha too.

Because everyone thinks I’m completely serious, he’s only going there to test the production bike

Kinda looks like KTM is throwing away the relationship by not paying their best rider to race the series. KTM is fucking this up.

Given they throw the book at riders it could be possible, but with 222's current contracts I highly doubt it

Tons of posts about KTM screwing Tony, but not a single one about Tony being retired and only wanting to do a handful of rounds…

Does he want to race the full series? I have no idea, but he doesn't come across as disappointed in the couple of interview clips I've watched. Regardless, I think burning the Red Bull bridge would be of bigger concern to him. He won three world championships as Red Bull athlete before he started with KTM, and I doubt those checks are going to stop anytime soon.

For starters at this point, what relationship. KTM doesn't want to pay for AC222 to race so..... It would be more embarrassing for KTM to loose him and a no brainer for Star Yamaha. If the talk is out that it's a possibility then KTM should get their heads out of their ass and pay the man to finish the series. If it's a dream for AC222 then he naught be on board to swing a leg over the YZ.

Edit - However, I don't believe that post is serious or that AC would even consider it.

Tony told me that they had a deal made but Star changed the terms last minute when the lawyers got together to sign the deal.

Tony said "they agreed to the pasta but they pulled the endless salad & breadsticks" so we are staying with KTM...
