Really you sound like the poser here. Ralph has more moto knowledge in his pinky than you could ever attain in a lifetime. I’ve run into him a few times in airports and he’s always ready to bench race. Dude knows his stuff.

NBC is big on futbol. Do you think that's why they're getting more of an international flavor for announcing? Do you think this will affect outdoors?

I'm probably in the minority, but I wouldn't mind hearing a Whiskey Throttle Show with him. The stories he told when he made an appearance on Emig's live episode were pretty good. Plus, he does seem like a genuinely good guy.

At the end of the day Ralph wasn't great and I think it was time for a switch. Ever see the AT&T commercials that say "just okay, is not okay"? I agree with that.

Just because the guy is a fan or racing doesn't mean he makes a good announcer. So many fumbles and dumb comments over the years I think it was time.

Ralph did alright. He probably for sure knew more about SX and the riders than most of these other yahoos they bring in. Ralph will be ok. He will make more money from covering 4 wheels anyway.

Get rid of the Brit chick. Bring back Jamie Little. She by far is the best female pit reporter in motorsports.

Many of us remember what truly bad announcing was..... Larry Huffman. God love him....he was horrible, but entertaining.

I never minded Ralph. I miss Fro. Ricky has been good. Diffey is good. Change...that's life.

...but yeah....Please dump Will Corporate Christien.

After reading that article I honestly couldn't believe he was that much of a fan, It seemed not as genuine in the booth. He would never add anything worth while, it was alot of rinse repeat commentary in my opinion. As someone who watches every supercross race and every motogp race, a major difference is the quality of commentary. When I watch Motogp they treat you like an educated fan which the majority are.. Watching supercross the last ten years they treated you like it was your first day watching the sport and that was so damn frustraiting.
