I don't want anyone to come here telling me it won't happen. I'm keen, and I'm going to try my hardest to make it work!

I am 21 and currently living in Australia. I am about to finish my 3rd year of engineering and I'm looking to finally start chasing my dreams and to break out of the mould. I'm not necessarily looking for a planted job in customer service, I would be looking for any touring position OR a planted role that puts you with the racing and riders. I'm looking to potentially chase a career but mostly just looking for a change of scenery in the interim for a minimum 12 months. I'm happy to work for absolute minimum wage (just enough to cover food and accomodation) and I have 6 years industry experience. I am absolutely in love with the industry and my love for it has only grown since I got involved with shops 6 years ago. I am a hard worker and I have a lot of enthusiasm for life in general. I am ready to up and relocate at a minutes notice!

I know the AMA have a touring track crew etc. This would also be of interest!

I am ready for all of the bad weather, the stressful times and the long hours but most of all I am ready to bring a tonne of enthusiasm for the job. I have a great sense of humour and I am always ready to have a laugh.

If anyone knows of anything going or has any advice let me know. I'm hoping to experience something new and exciting in a sport that I absolutely love. I'm definitely not here to make a tonne of money (before everyone starts calling out about low income etc.).

I will take all suggestions seriously!

You will need a work visa, but I'm not familiar with the details.

visa to work in other countries can be difficult to obtain...

you need to be versed in exactly what you need should an opportunity arise..

in many industries a company wont want to hire someone from os because of the visa issues unless you have very specific skill that is not readily available from the local pool...

often its who you know to get a foot in the door..

theres cultural issues you need to be on top of..

enthusiasm counts for little as EVERYONE can say that..

as a sometimes working, sometimes not 10 year aussie expat in sea, ive got some experience with that stuff..

perseverance over a long time, count years, is something you may need..

good luck, im sure if you get an opportunity you'll love it and become a much more 'worldly' person..
