Ol' Spermbeard says some irritating shit on here at times , but gawd damn it , he was for sure a bad mofo on a dirt cycle back in the day. He definitely has what you would call " Street cred " in this sport.

And there goes Jeffro. One of God's own prototypes. A super high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Just like you ride em today? I held my own on the most whooped out track in the world, Plymouth Hangtown.. I'm sure FTE can attest. πŸ˜πŸ‘

Yup FTE, I was a wee young lad of 15 years old.
Those RM370's were the shit back then

I was G before the "moto drive" to Vital

I raced in Nor-Cal in that era,and yes Bobby was one of the fast guys.
It does look like Dixon

Except for that nagging stuck wide open throttle cable issue. Factory defect that the first production models had. 😳😬

|

3/5/2020 2:27 PM

But you didn’t even notice till after the checkered flag?? πŸ‘

|

3/5/2020 2:37 PM

Cool pic MS and Bobby M. I have a 370 that I still race Evo classes with, I LOVE IT.

Not quite... Shit my pants at Sandhill once when it stuck wide open on the ledge section up top. Literally scared the shit out of me.... 😳

Argyle Park Dixon. Track cushion was rice husks or hulls or something similar.

Jason Anderson would be proud of that jersey.

One of the things that stand out in the op's picture is that the Vizor was actually functional. Then you could look down at your fender and block 90% of roost. Helmet vizors nowadays are so high above goggles that you have to look down to the foot pegs to block maybe 60% roost.
