That was uncomfortable but they didn’t let him answer the question and just cut away?

It was an odd question on her part though she asked way too long of a question. You can’t do that.

Gotta keep it short and sweet and not so complicated because the riders are on camera and people get nervous on cameras anyways but they could of salvaged it if they didn’t cut away. That was odd.

When A/C asked "What was the question again?" I loved that. It showed he actually was listening! Usually, the interviewer talks for a while, then asks a question, and the rider is already ready to talk.

The interviewer could say "Is Drakkar the greatest cologne EVER or what?" And the rider would respond "It really is. The track is really rough, my bike has been working really well today, I want to thank blah blah blah"

They probably ask the question and have the rider answer prior to actually filming it for TV to avoid that, and they probably played the original clip asking the question. Who knows...

I thought they were trying to show how much more focused he was on racing and this championship. So focused he can’t even hear the questions. Then instead of being funny it got real awkward. Why they showed that tape segment is a mystery. It made for great tv though.

I just don’t know why they cut the interview. They didn’t let him answer the question. That was the odd part to me not when he asked for her to repeat the question.

What drives me nuts about her long winded, overly wordy/think-y questions is that the answers are always the same generic: "yeah no for sure it was brutal out there..." followed by the requisite thanking sponsors and team spiel. A simple "Tell me about your race, ___" would suffice. She's making it way too hard for herself.

In the gold app it's at the 1:40 mark before the second 250 moto. They pretty much just showed a blooper, instead of any kind of content.

I'm guessing they played the wrong clip. I may be completely wrong but I don't think all the interviews are done live so they probably had the clip of him actually answering the question but accidentally played the wrong one.

I'm guessing the reason why they never showed the real clip is that things like the course preview need to be in the broadcast whereas a interview isn't necessary.
