Can there be a forum to promote the local tracks and races? Maybe by state?

Any ideas to get people out to the races?

Id consider racing if my bill for the day was $20.

Bro its like the track is paying you to ride sometimes since they never make money. Pay the 40$ or whatever it is.

Agree on the idea, sometimes this place can get a little slow anyways sometimes. Facepalm is the competition, and Vital could re-assert it's relevance and dominance. Cycle News used to do it (still does) but it is no longer a force and there is a missing piece in the information puzzle. TT has regionals, but a meet up and calendar for racing or practice is still needed. There was a guy in my neighborhood that traveled the nationals for a few years trying to kick off a moto social platform (can't remember the name). It may conflict with Vital's business model or owner's vision? It also has to be moderated, although volunteer's seem to do a good job on lot's of sites.

There used to be a section like this for each region....(midwest, southeast..etc) but they rarely had any posts in them. Sometime ago they were removed..

Correct, we had region and state based sub forums, no one used them. Some would go a year without a new post, so we simplified and dropped a ton of them.

Why pay $40 when another place is open for 5 hours for $20 AND you ride as much as you want

Because there is no other feeling like sitting on a start gate waiting for the board to turn sideways. Also, if you ride well it is one of the greatest feelings ever, and when it goes to shit, its one of the worse feelings in the world. Asking why you should race, is like asking why you should love a woman.
