That was sick! I remember that like it was yesterday.

EDIT: And by "sick" I mean the race/battle.

IMO, that move hurt more than his season: it started a downward spiral that he is just starting to pull out of in the last few years.

This. That was the beginning of the end for Wilson. It was downhill from there & he is just now digging himself out of the past year.

At least Tomac and Wilson were traveling in the same direction on the track. Also he got run off the track and only missed 2 of the jumps of the triple before re-entering.

If I'm going to give Marvin a pass it isn't because of that move on Wilson.

With the way Wilson was riding Tomac, Deano had it coming. Didn't watch the clip so I'm not sure if the post race interview is in there, but I remember Eli's interview after the race saying something along the lines of, "I don't like to race that way, but if I have to I will."

Eli seems like a standup guy, which is why I have been a fan. Yeah, he toyed with Dungey in Vegas last year and it seemed kind of childish in my opinion, because he more or less blew the championship with the crash at NYC, not because Marv took a dive.

I agree with this and thought of this same incident Saturday night. I know its not over till its over but it appears to me that the top three positions for the season are pretty much secure; Anderson will win, Musquin will be second and Tomac will be third. So I think Musquin should break out a two stroke for the final two rounds, suck up some two stroke fanboy love and stay out of Tomac's gunsightsSmile .

I still have yet to see a video of Tomac taking someone out without someone jacking with him first, yes it's a bit of a grade school mentality but it's pretty much how the world works, people even the score. I guess you could say the situation with Chad in 2015 but even then there's hardly any contact.

That was pretty much it. They passed back and forth with each pass escalating in aggression. The last pass before Tomac put him down was Wilson pushing him completely off the track.

These videos and examples actually prove how clean of a rider Tomac actually is without being provoked. Even people pointing out Vegas are actually bringing up a time where Tomac could have easily dropped someone to have a better chance at a title but instead kept it on two wheels. It was a bit childish but not nearly as bad as just torpedoing someone because he could. Not saying anyone is right or wrong, just observing.

Mess with the bull, you're eventually going to get the horns.

Marv has it coming to him at some point. As Eli said, it won't be anything stupid - but he will get him back.

I just wonder if all the tough guys will come out in full force in support of Eli when he lays the wood to Marv....

I fully expect Eli to put Marv over the berm before the season is over. That is assuming he is given the chance.
