Ive got the app, GPS160 and the Polar H10. Id like to hear from other guys on what watches pair well with the H10. Obviously Polar watches but what about Garmin or others that use the ANT+ technology? Ive aways used Suunto and I find their products to offer a bit more but looking at other options as well. The H10 can pair via bluetooth as well as ANT+ is my understanding? Thanks guys.

I have the Polar Vantage M and I've used it with Lit Pro. The thing with any brand of GPS watch is that the GPS radio is not very accurate for lap times and line selection.

Using LitPro with the watch will give you basic lap times, although its not nearly as accurate as using the Lit Pro GPS device.

As it is now, I found the best setup is to use the Vantage M for Heart rate data ( no strap needed), and the LitPro GPS receiver for lap times and corner speed analysis.

Agreed. I just like having the watch to see calories burned while also wearing the heart rate strap. Along with using a watch off the track like say the gym. So all my data is in Polar App

Has anyone had issues with watch/app transferring data to litpro app?
No, mine works every time.

You have to link your Garmin or Polar watch to the iPhone app first, and select "mountain Biking" as the form of exercise.

After your Moto just sync the watch to the app -

Mine stopped linking or transferring. Garmin connect has my data, MTB but the last time it transferred over was April 25th.
Just trying to find out if anyone else has same issues

I was just looking at LitPro last night and couldn't get something figured out...

If I buy the Dual XGPS160 is that ALL I need? Or do I still need a GPS device of some sort, too?

That's all you need, other than a smartphone to use the app.

Yea all you need is the xgps160 from Dual and a phone.

Jason are you using the Garmin for Litpro data acquisition?

I prefer the H10 hr strap for the most accurate heart rate. But it would be nice to collect other heart rate Or excercise data back to Garmin or even Suunto’s platforms. So I figured run the hr strap for moto/Litpro and then add the watch for gym days or daily use. I just dont care for the Polar apps. I will say the strap is nice for Litpro tho.

Yes I'm using Garmin for LitPro data. I'm actually using the Garmin for everything. I never take it off expect to charge. I can't see myself buying LitPro kit to train with. Just thought it was convenient to have a watch that was compatible with LitPro app.

I use the Garmin Vivoactive 3 Music with the LitPRO app, seems to work well. Mainly have the watch for running data/HR, but the LitPRO app has been great for basic lap timing compared to other watch apps. Would like to grab the gps160 as well now that I’m using the app regularly.

I know the watch pairs with the h10, though I don’t have the chest strap currently.
HR data is spot on for running and other cardio work, but hit and miss for moto.
Very happy with all features of the watch, will upgrade to the Vivoactive 4 when the time comes to retire this one.

I like the polar vantage M a lot for working out and just day to day stuff. It will even buzz you and let you read your texts or notifications off the watch while you’re driving etc

It’s a badass little watch that does a little bit of everything, I was even able to watch my breathing rate and heart rate while I had the corona virus

I prefer the more data driven watches. I dont really care about calls and txts but I realize that’s the target market these days. I just want good heart rate data on training load and energy expenditure along with lap times.

Most watch reviews I've seen online seem to agree Garmin for GPS accuracy.

I didn’t even know mine could give me my phone notifications until recently, it does so much more just didn’t want to make a 5 paragraph post

As a long time user of LITPRO, coming up 5 years, I have also had Polar watches for about the same time.
Today for one short Moto just used Polar M 430 in mtn bike mode. If you want a cheap “free” basic lap times you can’t go wrong.
Data transfer was done as soon as I checked iPhone back at the van.
Congratulations to LITPRO for making this option available to everyone.
